Amazon ads is one of many ways we can get our books in front of readers. I’ve talked about Publisher Rocket before and how it helps me find the right keywords for listing on KDP and in Amazon ads.
Well, Dave Chesson, the creator Kindlepreneur and Publisher Rocket, has made some amazing changes to this tool along with updating his free Amazon ads course.
Using Publisher Rocket for Amazon Ads
This past Friday, I spent going through the course again to get a better understanding of the updates he’s made to Pub Rocket. I learned a lot of new stuff and also created new ads. I found the keywords for 5 new ads in less than 2 hours.
If you’ve never done ads before, 2 hours might sound like a lot of time. But if you were to do this task manually on Amazon it would easily take you all day.
So what upgrade did Chesson make?
You can now add your own book to Publisher Rocket and it goes to work to find relevant keywords and books.
In addition to quickly finding keywords and books relevant to your own, with a simple click of your mouse, Publisher Rocket copies the items you choose to a Selected Targets list. You can export the list to Excel or copy/paste the list straight into your Amazon ad.
If you’re not using Amazon ads to promote your books, I highly recommend you start. And start by first taking Chesson’s free Amazon Ads 2.0 course, which shows you step by step how to create and manage your ads. The videos include advice from Janet Margot, who helped Amazon develop their Amazon ads platform.
In the weeks to come, I’ll give you an update in my Tuesday tips on how my ads are performing.
